Stripe Users:
If you are paid via Stripe, your Howl 1099 will be issued by Stripe and is accessible in the Stripe Dashboard using the Tax forms view. You should receive an email for your 1099 and a paper one should be mailed to you by January 31st. If you received payments on multiple platforms (ex: Stripe and Bill.com), you will receive two 1099s that should be added together.
If your 1099 is incorrect (e.g., states you are an LLC when you are a Sole Proprietor), please log into Stripe and update your account with the correct information. We will then be able to send a new and corrected 1099.
If you need to change the address name or EIN on a 1099, please email accounting@planethowl.com and we can update this in Stripe and issue a corrected 1099.
Bill.com Users
If you are paid via Bill.com, you will receive your 1099 from Tax.1099.com. You should receive an email and paper copy. If your 1099 is incorrect, please send an updated W9 to accounting@planethowl.com.
If you need to change the address name or EIN on a 1099, please email accounting@planethowl.com and we can update this in Bill.com and issue a corrected 1099.
